4、ished when specifically ordered.It shall bepermissible to furnish high-strength wire in place of regularwire if mutually agreed to by the purchaser and the manufac-turer.1.3 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard.The values stated ineach sys

11、l be cold drawn from rods that have beenhot rolled from billets.4.3 Unless otherwise specified,the wire shall be supplieduncoated.When specified as galvanized,it shall be galvanizedat finish size.5.Mechanical Property Requirements5.1 Tension Tests:5.1.1 When tested as described in Test Methods and D
12、efi-nitions A 370,the material,except as specified in 5.1.2,shallconform to the tensile property requirements in Table 1 basedon nominal area of wire.5.1.2 When required by the purchaser,yield strength shallbe determined as described using a Class B-1 extensometer as1This specification is under the
