4、mum thickness of plates furnished under thisspecification to 2 in.50 mm.1.3 Grades A,B,and C comply substantially with therequirements of ISO Pressure Vessel Steels P9,P15,and P18,respectively.1.4 For plates produced from coil and furnished withoutheat treatment or with stress relieving only,the add

8、neral Requirements and Ordering Information3.1 Material supplied to this material specification shallconform to Specification A20/A20M.These requirements out-line the testing and retesting methods and procedures,permit-ted variations in dimensions,and mass,quality and repair ofdefects,marking,loadin
9、g,and ordering information.3.2 Inadditiontothebasicrequirementsofthisspecification,certain supplementary requirements are availablewhen additional control,testing,or examination is required tomeet end use requirements.The purchaser is referred to thelisted supplementary requirements in this specific
10、ation and tothe detailed requirements in Specification A20/A20M.3.3 Coils are excluded from qualification to this specifica-tion until they are processed into finished plates.Platesproduced from coil means plates that have been cut toindividual lengths from coil.The processor directly controls,oris
11、responsible for,the operations involved in the processing ofcoils into finished plates.Such operations include decoiling,leveling,cutting to length,testing,inspection,conditioning,heat treatment(if applicable),packaging,marking,loading forshipment,and certification.NOTE1For plates produced from coil
12、 and furnished without heattreatment or with stress relieving only,three test results are reported foreach qualifying coil.Additional requirements regarding plates from coilare described in Specification A20/A20M.3.4 If the requirements of this specification are in conflictwith the requirements of S
