3、 to all ventilators specificallyintroduced for sale following acceptance of this specificationand intended for use during the administration of anesthesia.Definitions,performance requirements,test methods,and arationale for all mandatory requirements are included.1.2 The anesthesia ventilator cannot
4、 protect against mal-functions within the anesthesia machine,nor can it protectagainst inappropriate or inadvertent use of the oxygen flushvalve,and therefore,no attempt has been made to addressproblems that may arise from malfunctions with these devicesin this specification.(See also X3.1.)1.3 Seve
