8、tions,so as toobtain comparative results.5.Significance and Use5.1 This test method should be used to evaluate severalperformance qualities of multistrike film ribbons on a com-parative basis.5.2 This test method is suitable for comparative serviceevaluation,research,and development.It may also be u
9、sed formanufacturing control but only on a limited basis,due to timespan required for some of the procedures.5.3 This procedure consists of several tests that are used toevaluate different characteristics of multistrike ribbons.Theuser can choose any one of these,a series of tests,or all testsdepend
