5、5.3.2 Definitions of Terms Specific to This Standard:3.2.1 accessoriesany device that expands the capabilityof the equipment beyond its normal operating mode.Anaccessory for purposes of energy tests shall be defined as onethat is under the control of the operator.3.2.2 automatic shut-off modevariabl

10、 when the machine is in stand-by mode.The machine goesinto this mode a period of time after it finishes copying.Widely-used International Energy Star Program contributed torefer to this mode as lowpower mode.It specifies that themachine starts passing to the energy-saver mode from thestand-by mode w

11、ithin 15 min.In compliance with the EnergyStar Program,this document provides that the machine stays inthe stand-by mode for 15 min until the start of passing to theenergy-saver mode.3.2.11energy-saver timethe amount of time that themachine is in an energy-saver mode.3.2.12 jobmaking copies from one
