8、tions of Terms Specific to This Standard:3.1.1 AC or DC ungrounded electrical system,na systemthat has no intentional connection to ground and can continueto perform normally if one conductor becomes connected toground.3.1.2 measuring signal,nthe output signal from the insu-lation monitor that is su
9、perimposed between the AC or DCungrounded system to be monitored and ground.3.1.3 response value,nthe adjustable or preset set-pointvalue of the system insulation resistance at which an insulationmonitor will provide an alarm indication.3.1.4 system leakage capacitance,nthe total capacitanceto groun
10、d of the system including all connected consumers.3.1.5 touch voltage,nthe voltage appearing during aninsulation fault,between simultaneously accessible parts.Thisterm is used only in connection with protection against indirecthuman contacts,that is,no direct human contact with a liveconductor.The I
