6、ble substances in materials.The definitions shall beused uniformly and consistently.The purpose of this terminol-ogy is to promote clear understanding and interpretation of thestandards in which those definitions,acronyms,and units areused.3.2 A terminology section is required in all F40 standards.T
7、his section shall contain terms specific to the standard or areference to this terminology,or both.3.3 All terms used within a standard that are unique to itshall be defined within the standard.Terms that are of moregeneral application shall be defined in this terminology.If thetechnical subcommitte
