11、th a tolerance of 5%,shall be attained in 30 s 3 s.The speedof application of the force shall be as linear as possible without jerking.If,after the application of the force(N),the flattening of the sample does not reach 30%of its initial outside diameter,then the force is increased until 30%is reach
12、ed.The difference between the initial outside diameter and the diameter of the flattenedsample shall not exceed 50%of the original diameter while the compression force is stillapplied.NOTE The dimension can,for example,be measured with a gauge.Add the following subclause:9.3.7 Finally the flattened
