2、对川村原名对村，因明代嘉靖年间黄姓居住在村西南、谢姓居住在村东南，两姓遥相对望而得名。对川茶场，前身是始建于1951年的国营茶场“高明县农业示范场”，1956 年改称“国营高明县机械茶叶示范场”，1962 年改称“对川茶场”。由于城市化的发展而引发的产业转移，茶场生产已经逐渐式微。茶场内大部分茶田已被用作旅游和房地产开发，制茶工厂的 3 幢厂房所在的小岛以及周边的茶田成为原茶场仅存的内容。建筑师与该资产的新业主合作谋求在维持制茶工厂生产的同时适度引入观光资源以资助和维持传统在地产业。3 幢厂房大致呈东西中轴对称布局，一字东西向排开斜插于“茶小岛”的林木之中。一株令人印象深刻的如巨伞般覆盖住第一
3、幢厂房建筑的细叶榕似乎是整个场地的原生主人，原厂房建筑物周边植被繁茂。厂房建筑全为 34 层的半框架结构，外墙面是我们幼时熟悉的洗石米和细钢窗组合构成的立面。来自现状场地的困难和挑战主要有两方面。第一是现状建筑物周边大量原生态的乔木和植被，它们显然是现状环境的重要构成部分，需要被小心保留和呵护。任何大的更新动作都会对此产生难以修复的破坏。其次是 3 幢现状厂房的尺度和建造方式显然与其周边茶田的地景状态和尺度存在较大的冲突，两者之间难以建立空间和文化上的强烈关联。而设计所采取的空间介入方式正是寻求一种机制以处理和连接上述时空和生态断层的思辨和行动结果。对川茶场建筑和景观的更新过程被看作是一次抵御
4、城市无机化和单一化发展的空间行动。行动包含 2个层面的操作：首先是对茶厂周边凋零的茶田进行补种修复，然后通过与传统茶文化兼容的两种天然物料，石与竹，在场地和老建筑上依次进行植入式的建造介入。这个建造行动被取名为“筑石为台，立竿为亭”。石砌景台为在茶厂建筑外围地景层面用一种产自南方的黑色花岗石（依附钢筋混凝土结构）砌筑一座环绕原有厂房群落的“景台”。景台具有多孔结构，重新梳理和界定了内部生产和自然种植之间的关系。竹搭凉亭是在 3 幢厂房的屋面上以竹竿编织的空中的廊院组织，3 幢建筑顶上构筑了 4 个尺度不同的屋面庭院，使原本分离的屋面成为 1 组联通的空中院落，在空中建构了茶园地景之上的观赏和游

14、rst built and inaugu-rated in 1951,Duichuan Tea Yards went through 3 times of name change till it settle with the name as it is now.The old Duichuan Tea Factory used to be part of the local state-run tea farm.The 3 factory buildings sitting in the small island with the remaining tea fields around ha
15、ve become the only asset of the original tea farm.The architects worked with the new owner of the property in the projects to maintain and support the tea mills traditional production,by introducing appropriate tourist functions.The 3 existing buildings were roughly symmetrically aligned on the east
16、-west orientation,seemingly in-serted obliquely into the woods of the Tea Island.An impressive huge banyan tree that covered the first factory building looked like the original owner of the entire site.The vegetation surrounding the factory was lush.They were all 3 or 4story with hybrid structures,with the typical composition of exposed aggregate concrete and thin-steel-frame windows on their external facades.The difficulty of and challenge from the project site were twofold.The first was how to
