3、 practice covers an analytical solution for determin-ing the horizontal and vertical hydraulic conductivity of anaquifer by analysis of the response of water levels in theaquifer to the discharge from a well that partially penetrates theaquifer. This standard uses data derived from Test MethodD4050.1
4、.2 LimitationsThe limitations of the technique for deter-mination of the horizontal and vertical hydraulic conductivityof aquifers are primarily related to the correspondence betweenthe field situation and the simplifying assumption of thispractice.1.3 UnitsThe values stated in either SI units or in
5、ch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard.Thevalues stated in each system may not be exact equivalents;therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other.Combining values from the two systems may result in noncon-formance with the standard.Reporting of test results in unit
