3、ion strategies in the latest opening speech of Boao Forum for Asia (referred to “BFA”) from the perspective of the functional equivalence theory with the research methods as qualitative analysis and case analysis on which we are going to learn the skills of vocabulary, syntax and discourse. In lexical features, the main method usually use literal translation, omission, addition and word formation; In syntax features, the main method can be active voice to passive voice, adding subject, and positive

15、 functional equivalence theory is put forward by Eugene Nida. The theory contains two aspects: formal equivalence and functional equivalence. The formal equivalence means that the translation and the original text should express the same meaning and the choice of words should be natural and native.
16、The functional equivalence means that when readers read the translation, they can feel the same emotion as the original text gives to them.
