3、gy does not cover terms relating to themechanical properties of the materials used for fabricatinganchors,nor does it cover their use.1.3 The terms are listed alphabetically.Compound termsappear in the natural spoken order.2.Terminologyadhesive anchoranchor placed into a hole in the basematerial,and

4、 which derives its holding strength from achemical adhesive placed between the wall of the hole in thebase material and the embedded portion of the anchor.allowable loadcapacity assigned to an anchor in accordancewith allowable-stress design procedures.anchorcast-in-place or post-installed fastening
