3、onships for specialpurpose,limited use,thermocouple combinations that do nothave a letter designation.1.2 Extension wire or compensating extension wires are notcovered by this guide.ASTM MNL 122or thermocouple alloysuppliers should be consulted.1.3 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound

6、sitive and negativethermoelements chosen so that a thermocouple fabricated fromthese thermoelements will match a specified temperature-electromotive force relationship to within a specified tolerance,at the time of first use.4.Source of Data4.1 The data in these tables are based on the SI Volt and t

7、heInternational Temperature Scale of 1990.4.2 All temperatureelectromotive force data in Tables 1-20have been developed from NIST,NRC,and wire manufactur-ers data.4.3 Tables 1-16 give emf values in millivolts to threedecimal places(1 V)at 1C or 1F intervals.Tables 17-20give emf values in microvolts

8、to one decimal place(0.1 V)at1C or 1F intervals.If greater precision is required,refer tothe equation and coefficients listed for each thermocouplealloy.5.Significance and Use5.1 These thermocouple combinations have been developedfor specific applications by the wire manufacturer(s).If addi-tional i
