3、ion covers the physical requirements forthe fully cured elastomeric alloy and the movement capabilitiesof preformed architectural compression seals used for sealingexpansion joints in buildings and parking structures.Thepreformed architectural compression seal is a rectangularelastomeric extrusion,h

4、aving an internal baffle system pro-duced continuously and longitudinally throughout the material.The architectural compression seal functions under compres-sion and is usually chemically bonded in place with anadhesive.NOTE1Movement capability is defined in Test Method E1399/E1399M.1.2 This specifi

5、cation covers all colors of architecturalcompression seals.1.3 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard.The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents;therefore,eachsystem shall be used independently of the other.Combiningvalues
