6、floor coverings in reducingimpact noise from a standard tapping machine through con-crete floors.The test results are not necessarily directly relatedto the subjective evaluations of the floor coverings.1.2 This test method applies to all floor coverings,whethersingle or multi-layered,as installed o
7、n a standard concretefloor.Multi-layered coverings may be factory-assembled orassembled at the test laboratory.1.3 The test method applies only to laboratory measure-ments.It does not apply to the measurement of the effective-ness of a floor covering in a field situation.1.4 Laboratory Accreditation
