3、th gasoline by gas chroma-tography.1.2 Butanol is determined from 95%to 99.9%by mass,acetone is determined from 0.02%to 1.5%by mass,ethanolis determined from 0.02%to 1.5%by mass,and methanol isdetermined from 0.02%to 1.5%by mass.Equations used toconvert these individual components from mass percent
4、tovolume percent are provided.This test method has not beenevaluated for use with the butanol isomer 2-methyl-2-propanol.1.3 This test method identifies and quantifies acetone,ethanol,and methanol,but does not purport to identify allindividual components that may be present in butanol forgasoline bl
5、ending.1.4 Water cannot be determined by this test method andshall be measured by a procedure such as Test Method D1364and the result used to correct the chromatographic values.1.5 This test method is inappropriate for impurities that boilat temperatures higher than 225 C or for impurities that caus
