3、 the evaluation of the oil sorptioncapacity of a representative sample of organophilic clay.Thetest method is not intended to be a performance test and the oilspecified in the test methods may yield different results thanother non-aqueous phase liquids(for example,coal tar,creosote,crude oil)encount
4、ered in the field.Method A shouldonly be used on granular organophilic clay;otherwise finerparticles may pass through the test sieve.1.2 All observed and calculated values shall conform to theguidelines for significant digits and rounding established inPractice D6026.1.2.1 The procedures used to spe
5、cify how data are collected/recorded or calculated in this standard are regarded as theindustry standard.In addition,they are representative of thesignificant digits that generally should be retained.The proce-dures used do not consider material variation,purpose forobtaining the data,special purpos
