10、7/D6817M.5.Significance and Use5.1 This practice provides guidance on sampling of EPSgeofoam in order to determine compliance to SpecificationD6817/D6817M.6.Procedure6.1 Initial Sampling:6.1.1 Select samples of the EPS geofoam from a firstproduction lot to ensure compliance with Specification D6817/
11、D6817M.Selection of samples shall be as agreed uponbetween purchaser and supplier.6.1.2 Initial sampling shall include sampling of three sets ofspecimens.The sets shall be selected from different regions ofa single EPS geofoam block.The regions shall include thecorners of the EPS geofoam block and t
12、he center of the EPSgeofoam block as shown in Fig.1.NOTE1Some EPS geofoam suppliers may cut larger sized blocks intotwo or three smaller sized blocks.The smallest dimension of the block isthe height.6.1.3 A minimum of five specimens shall be cut from eachof the three regions of the block.The specime
