1、Designation:D 6847 02Standard Test Method forQuantitative Extraction and Recovery of Asphalt Binderfrom Asphalt Mixtures1This provisional standard is issued under the fixed designation D 6847;the number immediately following the designation indicates theyear of original adoption.1.Scope1.1 This test
2、 method covers a procedure for the extractionand recovery of asphalt binder from asphalt mixturesbothHMA(hot mix asphalt)and RAP(reclaimed/recycled asphaltpavement)having a minimal effect on the physical propertiesof the asphalt binder recovered. It is primarily intended for usewhen the physical prop

11、4.Significance and Use4.1 This standard is used to extract and recover asphaltbinder from an asphalt mixture sample. The recovered mixturecomponents(asphalt binder and aggregates)can then besubjected to further physical tests.5.Apparatus5.1 Extraction VesselThe extraction vessel shall be adevice as s
