2、t revision.A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope1.1 This guide encompasses generalized guidelines for thedisposal of cannabis raw materials and products containingresins.The guid

3、elines presented can also be applied to thedisposal of planting seed.1.2 This guide also provides guidance for authorized con-sumers outlining the safe and secure disposal of unwanted,unused,or expired resin cannabis products at home or throughuse of a take-back program facilitated by a cannabis ope

4、rationor the authority having jurisdiction.1.3 This guide does not cover the disposal of seeds,leaves,stalks,or roots so long as they are not accompanied by theflowers or resins.1.4 This guide does not cover the disposal of other wastematerials commonly generated by a cannabis operation,suchas waste

5、 grow-media,cleaning agents,pesticides,fertilizers,solvents,lighting(mercury-and lead-based),hazardousmaterials,laboratory wastes generated during quality assuranceand quality control,water,or unused packaging and labelmaterials.1.5 UnitsThe values stated in SI units are to be regardedas the standar

6、d.No other units of measurement are included inthis standard.1.6 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns,if any,associated with its use.It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety,health,and environmental practices and deter-mine

8、ued by the World Trade Organization TechnicalBarriers to Trade(TBT)Committee.2.Terminology2.1 Definitions:2.1.1 cannabinoids,nclass of bioactive chemical com-pounds consisting of terpenophenolic secondary metabolitesproduced within the secretory cells of the cannabis plant aswell as some other plant

9、 species.2.1.1.1 Discussion“Phytocannabinoids”refer to thosecannabinoids produced by plants,such as the cannabis plant.“Endocannabinoids”refer to those cannabinoids produced bynormal human/animal physiological functions.2.1.2 cannabis flower,nflowering or fruiting tops of thecannabis plant(excluding

10、 the seeds and leaves when notaccompanied by the tops)from which the resin has not beenextracted,by whatever name they may be designated by theauthority having jurisdiction.2.1.2.1 DiscussionCannabis flowers may occur singularlyor in clusters(cola),possessing glandular trichomes,bracts,calyxes/sepal

11、s,and stigmas,and bear the reproductive struc-tures(for example,stamens or pistils)involved in the devel-opment of seeds.“Grain”refers to those flowers that have beenpollinated and are in the process of or have already generatedseeds.2.1.3 cannabis leaves,nphotosynthesizing parts of thecannabis plan

12、t that range in size and shape with multipleprotrusions stemming from a singular shoot that may or maynot possess glandular trichomes.2.1.3.1 DiscussionThe arrangement of leaves is alternateor opposite,the form of the leaves is palmately compound,composed usually from three(3)to up to nine(9)linearl

13、anceolate leaflets with glandular hairs,and margins rangingfrom crenate/dentate to coarsely serrate.2.1.3.2 Discussion“Sugar leaves”are a subset of cannabisleaves that grow with the flowers and possess a significantquantity of glandular trichomes(that is,both the tops andbottoms of the leaves are co

14、mpletely covered in glandulartrichomes).“Fan leaves”are another subset of cannabis leavesthat grow throughout the plant but do not possess a significantquantity of glandular trichomes,if any.2.1.4 cannabis plant,nany plant of the genus Cannabis.2.1.4.1 DiscussionAt a minimum,this refers to Cannabiss
