3、 thatare moist or sticky and have a particle diameter less than onehalf the diameter of the trier.1.2 The trier can be used as a vertical coring device onlywhen it is certain that a relatively complete and cylindricalsample can be extracted.1.3 UnitsThe values stated in SI units are to be regardedas

11、rs project specifications and practices for environ-mental field operations.6.Sampling Equipment6.1 The trier should be made from materials that arecompatible with the substances being sampled and with thetests or analyses to be performed.Either stainless steel orpolytetrafluoroethylene-coated metal
