5、regulatory limitations prior to use.2.Apparatus 2.1 Oven,air-tight at 110 f 5F.3.Reagents 3.1 Calcium chloride as desiccant spread thinly in a tray near the bottom of the oven with a surface area of at least 50%of the surface area of the bottom of the oven,3.2 Humidifier cabinet at 90%relative humid

7、 2 h after which time the sample shall be removed from the oven and immediately felt with clean dry fingers for tackiness.4.1 Place another similar sample in the humidifier at 90%relative humidity and 90 f 2F for 24 h.After removing from the humidifier,feel the sample immediately with clean dry fing
8、ers for tackiness.5.Report 5.1 Dry,warm tackiness of finish shall be reported as one of the following:no tackiness,slight tackiness or considerable tackiness.5.2 Moist,warm tackiness of finish shall be reported as one of the following:no tackiness,slight tackiness or considerable tackiness.6.Precisi
9、on and Bias 6.1 This test method is adopted from the procedures of the American Leather Chemists Association where it has been in use and where it was approved for publication before the inclusion of precision and bias statements were man-dated,The original interlaboratory test data is no longer ava
