16、ates the loss of VOC from afreshly coated surface by using the difference in weight of acoated test panel before and after baking.Metal test panels aresubjected to a simulation of the production coating processincluding application,flashing,and baking.The weight lossvalue obtained is then related to the volume of solids depositedon the test panel to compute the number of pounds of VOC pergallon(grams per litre)of solids applied that is available at theinlet of the VOC control device.3.2 The info
