8、hown in Table 1.NOTE 2-An example of this classification system is:Haze(1.O to 3.0)I Gloss(80 to 90)Coeficient of friction(0.2 to 0.5)1%secant modulus(71 o00 to Elongation at break(400 to 600)This type number represents a high-quality film typical of the material being sold currently for over-wrap a
9、pplications.If a particular property were not considered to be important in the intended application,it could be omitted and replaced with a zero in the type number.For example,if coefficient of friction were not con-sidered important in the type number just given,the type number would be 22022.With
10、 this type of classification it is possible to describe a f i l m with a combination of properties that would be impossible to manufacture with the present state of technology.For this reason it is advisable for persons using the specification for the first time to contact the film suppliers to dete

16、 of the nominal yield as prescribed in Table 3.In cases where each roll,blanket,or unit of production is packaged and marked by the producer as the ultimate con-sumer sales unit with stated dimensions,the single-roll tolerances for yield shall apply.4.4 Width Tolerances-The tolerance for width shail be k3.0 mm(0.12 in.)of the nom-inal width or as agreed upon by the purchaser and the manufacturer(or supplier).4.5 Length-The length of f i l m and number of splices per roll shall be as agreed upon
