2、s the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the U.S.Department of Defense.1.Scope1.1 This specification covers acceptance testing of rubberinsulating matting for use as

3、a floor covering for protection ofworkers.1.2 Two types of matting,differing in chemical and physicalcharacteristics,are provided and are designated as Type I andType II matting.1.3 The following safety hazards caveat applies only to thetest method portion,Sections 17 to 19,of this specification:Thi

4、s standard does not purport to address all of the safetyconcerns,if any,associated with its use.It is the responsibilityof the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety,health,and environmental practices and determine the appli-cability of regulatory limitations prior to use.NOTE1Rubber
