3、resentative sample of specification LiquefiedPetroleum Gas(LPG),such as specified in SpecificationD1835,GPA 2140,and comparable international standards.1.2 This practice is suitable for obtaining representativesamples for all routine tests for LP gases required by Specifi-cation D1835.In the event o
4、f a dispute involving sampleintegrity when sampling for testing against SpecificationD1835 requirements,Practice D3700 shall be used as thereferee sampling procedure.1.3 This practice may also be used for other Natural GasLiquid(NGL)products that are normally single phase(NGLmix,field butane,etc.),d
5、efined in other industry specificationsor contractual agreements.It is not intended for non-specification products that contain significant quantities ofundissolved gases(N2,CO2),free water or other separatedphases,such as raw or unprocessed gas/liquids mixtures andrelated materials.The same equipme
6、nt can be used for thesepurposes,but additional precautions are generally needed toobtain representative samples of multiphase products(seeAppendix X1 on Sampling Guidelines in Practice D3700).NOTE1Practice D3700 describes a recommended practice for obtain-ing a representative sample of a light hydr
7、ocarbon fluid and the subse-quent preparation of that sample for laboratory analysis when dissolvedgases are present.Use of Practice D1265 will result in a small butpredictable low bias for dissolved gases due to the liquid ventingprocedure to establish the 20%minimum ullage.1.4 This practice includ
