1、Designation:C122415Standard Specification forReflective Insulation for Building Applications1This standard is issued under the fixed designation C1224;the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or,in the case of revision, the year of last revision.A number
2、 in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.Asuperscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope1.1 This specification covers the general requirements andphysical properties of reflective insulations for use in buildingapplications. These insulat
3、ion materials consist of one or morelow emittance surfaces, such as metallic foil or metallicdeposits, unmounted or mounted on substrates.Reflectiveinsulations derive thermal performance from surfaces with anemittance of 0.1 or less, facing enclosed air spaces.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units
4、are to be regardedas standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are not considered standard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns,if any, associated with its use.It is theresponsibility o
