2、tion or,in the case of revision,the year of last revision.A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.A superscript epsilon()indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1.Scope*1.1 This specification covers aluminum-alloy castings,pro-duced by the thixocast,

3、rheocast,semi-solid,and squeezecasting processes,shown in Table 1.1.2 This specification is not intended for castings used inaerospace applications.1.3 Alloy and temper designations are in accordance withANSI H35.1/H35.1(M).The equivalent unified numberingsystem alloy designations are in accordance

4、with PracticeE527.1.4 Unless the order specifies the“M”specificationdesignation,the material shall be furnished to the inch-poundunits.1.5 For acceptance criteria for inclusion of new aluminumand aluminum alloys and their properties in this specification,see Annex A1 and Annex A2.1.6 The values stat

5、ed in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard.The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents;therefore,eachsystem shall be used independently of the other.Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the standard.1.7 This s
