10、ed asapplying to the terms used in this specification.4.Materials and Manufacture4.1 Mineral fiber thermal insulating cement shall be com-posed of mineral fiber and inorganic fillers,with a suitableproportion of heat-resistant binder.4.2 The mineral fiber shall consist of rock,slag,or glassprocessed
11、 from a molten state into fibrous form.4.3 Asbestos shall not be used as an ingredient or compo-nent part of the product.5.Other Requirements5.1 The cement shall conform to the requirements given inTable 1.Conformance shall be based on results of tests onspecimens prepared in accordance with 9.1.5.2
12、 Maximum Use TemperatureWhen tested in accor-dance with 10.5,the dried cement shall not warp,flame,orglow during hot surface exposure.No evidence of melting orfiber degradation shall be evident upon post-test inspection.5.3 Non-combustibilityWhen tested in accordance with10.6,the dried cement shall
