3、017.1.Scope*1.1 This specification2covers the chemical and mechanicalrequirements of two grades of carbon steel bolts and studs insizes14in.through 4 in.The fasteners are designated by“Grade”denoting tensile strength and intended use,as follows:GradeDescriptionGrade ABolts,studs,and threadedrod havi
4、ng a minimumtensile strength of 60 ksiand intended for generalapplications,Grade BBolts,studs,and threadedrodAhaving a tensilestrength of 60 to 100 ksi andintended for flanged joints inpiping systems with cast ironflanges,andGrade CReplaced by SpecificationF1554 Gr.36AThreaded rod is not usually pro
