3、concrete underlayments over woodstructural panel subfloors in commercial structures or overconcrete floors in commercial structures and the preparation ofthe thick poured gypsum concrete underlayment surface priorto the installation of resilient flooring in commercial buildings.1.2 This practice cov

4、ers the factors that are required to becontrolled while installing thick poured gypsum concreteunderlayment as a base for resilient flooring.1.3 This practice does not cover the structural adequacy ofthe wood structural panel subfloor or concrete subfloor.Thestructural integrity of assemblies is gov

5、erned by local buildingcodes.1.4 This practice does not supersede in any manner the thickpoured gypsum concrete underlayment manufacturers,adhe-sive manufacturers or resilient flooring manufacturers writteninstructions.Consult the individual manufacturer for specificrecommendations.1.5 Thick poured

6、gypsum concrete underlayments are notsuitable for use on concrete slabs on ground due to potentialmoisture problems arising from moisture intrusion,unless anadequate vapor retarder or vapor barrier is present directlybeneath the concrete subfloor.1.6 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be r

12、esilient floor coverings directly if the surface is appropriate orindirectly via an underlayment if its surface is not suitable or ifunderlayment is required by appropriate code authorities.3.2.4 gypsum concrete underlayment,nthat layer ofmaterial,with binder content composed primarily of gypsumceme
