6、 de rfrence mentionnes ci-dessous,en prenant soin dviter un chauffement excessif.Un exemple de dispositif de coupe estdonn en Annexe B de la premire partie,Section 1,de la prsente norme CEI.Pourlisolation en polythylne(PE)ou en polypropylne(PP),seule la coupe doit tre utilise,non le meulage.Aprs la
7、coupe ou le meulage,lpaisseur des prouvettes ne doit pastre infrieure 0,8 mm,ni suprieure 2,0 mm.Si lon ne peut obtenir une paisseur de0,8 mm partir de lchantillon original,une paisseur minimale de 0,6 mm est autorise.Toutes les prouvettes doivent tre conditionnes la temprature ambiante pendant aumo
8、ins 16 h.8.4.3 Prparation des prouvettesSupprimer,la page 14,le deuxime alina et remplacer le texte existant des troisime etquatrime alinas par ce qui suit:La gaine na besoin dtre ni meule ni coupe si les surfaces intrieure et extrieure sontlisses,et que son paisseur moyenne spcifie ne dpasse pas 2,
9、0 mm.On doit meulerou couper les chantillons ayant une paisseur suprieure ou prsentant des empreintesou des stries sur la face interne de faon obtenir deux surfaces lisses et parallles,etune paisseur ne dpassant pas 2,0 mm.Lpaisseur minimale aprs la coupe ou le meu-lage doit tre gale 0,8 mm mais si

13、138.3.3 Preparation of test-piecesReplace the existing text of the second and third paragraphs by the following new text:The strips of insulation shall be ground or cut,so as to obtain two parallel smooth surfacesbetween the reference marks mentioned below,care being taken to avoid undue heating.An
14、example of a cutting machine is given in Appendix B of Part 1 Section 1 of this IECStandard.For polyethylene(PE)and polypropylene(PP)insulation,cutting only,not grind-ing,shall be employed.After grinding or cutting,the thickness of the strips shall be notless than 0,8 mm and not more than 2,0 mm.If
15、a thickness of 0,8 mm cannot be obtainedfrom the original sample,a minimum thickness of 0,6 mm is permitted.All strips shall be conditioned at ambient temperature for at least 16 h.8.4.3 Preparation of test-piecesDelete,on page 15,the second paragraph and replace the existing text of the third andfo
16、urth paragraphs by the following new text:The sheath need not be ground or cut if the inner and outer surfaces are smooth,and itsmean specified thickness does not exceed 2,0 mm.Samples having a thickness exceedingthis limit or samples having imprints or ridges on the inner side shall be ground or cut toobtain two parallel and smooth surfaces,and a thickness which does not exceed 2,0 mm.The minimum thickness after grinding or cutting shall be 0,8 mm but if the originalthickness of the sheath does
