10、 more effective in eliminating mycoplasma and prevent the appearance of resistant strains.The quinolone in Cellmaxin can enter cells easily and therefore are active on both intracellular pathogens as well as free mycoplasma.For many Gram+bacteria,the target of Cellmaxin is topoisomerase IV which euk
11、aryotic cells do not contain.Therefore Cellmaxin is less toxic than other anti-mycoplasma reagents.The working concentration of Cellmaxin varies with the organism,cell type,enviromental conditions,and growth stage.However,a concentration of 10ug/ml is active most strains of bacteria anda number of m
12、ycoplasma strains.Cellmaxin is active against mycoplasma,Gram+bacteria and Gram-bacteria at low concentration(5-20ug/ml).There is no need to add Penicillin-Sterptomycin during the Cellmaxin treatment.Cellmaxin is provided as 10mg/ml clear filtered solution.Cellmaxin plus is a combination of Cellmaxi
