11、tion published as ANSI/HTI B173.1-1990.In 1996 the scope of The American National Standards Committee B107.Socket Wrenchesand Drives.under sponsorship by the American Socicty of Mechanical Engincers wasexpanded to include safety requrements for tools.The latest revision of this safety standardfor nail hammers was written and approved by the HTI committee and submitted to,andapproved by.the Standards Committee B10/The latest edition of this Standard.ASME B107.41M-1997.was approved by the AmericanNational Standards institute on March 24.1997.n
