5、tandard Single Point Tools and Tool Posts ASA R5.22-1950.Revision of the Carbide tooling portion of B5.22-1950 resulted in the recommendation for a standard covering Carbide Blanks and Cutting Tools.Technical Committee TC-2 of B5 was organized for this purpose,and the standard was reviewed and revis
6、ed.The standard was ap-proved and designated ASA B5.36,November 18,1957.Requests from manufacturers and users resulted in the committee being re-activated for the purpose of revising the standard.Under Sectional Committee,B94 Cutting Tools,the former Technical Committee TC-2 of B5 was reorganized an
7、d designated TC-1,Carbide and Oxide Tools.The next revision was approved by the B94 Sectional Committee on September 27,1965 and submitted to the sponsor ASME for submission to ASA for approval.ASA approval was granted on January 21,1966 and the standard designated B94.5-1966.The current revision wa
