5、cesses,and se-lected for use in paints and shall conform to the followingrequirements:Loss on ignition,max.,%1.0Matter soluble in HCl(1+2),max,%3.0Moisture and other volatile matter,max,%1.0Volume of settled pigment in petroleum spiritsafter 1 h,min,mL:Type A35Type B25Coarse particles(total residue

7、er unit ofproduction in a shipment.When no markings distinguishingbetween units of production appear,samples shall be takenfrom different packages in the ratio of two samples for each10 000 lb(4540 kg),except that for shipments of less than10 000 lb two samples shall be taken.At the option of thepur
