6、ecification A1025,including any supple-mentary requirements that are indicated in the purchase order.Failure to comply with the general requirements of Specifica-tion A1025 constitutes nonconformance with this specification.In case of conflict between the requirements of this specifica-tion and Spec
7、ification A1025,this specification shall prevail.4.Chemical Composition4.1 The various grades shall conform to the requirements asto chemical composition specified in Tables 1 and 2.4.2 The manufacturer shall furnish an analysis of eachshipment showing the percentage of each element specified inTabl
8、e 1.4.3 The values shown in Table 2 are expected maximums.Upon request of the purchaser,the manufacturer shall furnishan analysis for any of these elements on a cumulative basisover a period mutually agreed upon between the manufacturerand the purchaser.5.Size5.1 The various grades are available in
9、sizes as listed inTable 3.5.2 The sizes listed in Table 3 are typical as shipped fromthe manufacturers plant.These alloys exhibit varying degreesof friability;therefore,some attrition may be expected intransit,storage,and handling.A quantitative test is not avail-able for rating relative friability
10、of ferroalloys.A code systemhas been developed,therefore,for this purpose,and a numberrating each product type is shown in the last column of Table3.Definitions applicable to these code numbers are given inSpecification A1025.6.Chemical Analysis6.1 The chemical analysis of the material shall be made
11、 inaccordance with the procedure for the ferroalloys as describedin Test Methods E364,or alternative methods,agreed upon bythe purchaser and supplier,that will yield equivalent results.6.2 If alternative methods of analysis are used,in case ofdiscrepancy,Test Methods E364 shall be used for reference
