3、10665,N10675,N10629,andN10624)*as shown in Table 1,for use in general corrosiveservice.1.2 The following products are covered under this specifi-cation:1.2.1 Rods516to34in.(7.94 to 19.05 mm)excl in diameter,hot or cold finished,solution annealed and pickled or mechani-cally descaled.1.2.2 Rods34to 3

4、12in.(19.05 to 88.9 mm)incl in diameter,hot or cold finished,solution annealed,ground or turned.1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard.The values given in parentheses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are not considered

9、e necessary for material ordered under thisspecification.Examples of such requirements include,but arenot limited to the following:4.1.1 AlloyTable 1.4.1.2 DimensionsNominal diameter and length.Theshortest usable multiple length shall be specified(Table 2).4.1.3 CertificationState if certification o

10、r a report of testresults is required(Section 16).4.1.4 Purchaser InspectionState which tests or inspec-tions are to be witnessed(Section 13).4.1.5 Samples for Product(Check)AnalysisState whethersamples should be furnished(9.2.2).5.Chemical Composition5.1 The material shall conform to the compositio

11、n limitsspecified in Table 1.5.2 If a product(check)analysis is made by the purchaser,the material shall conform to the requirements specified inTable 1 subject to the permissible tolerances in B880.6.Mechanical Properties and Other Requirements6.1 The mechanical properties of the material at roomte

16、nd-ness shall be as prescribed in Table 2.7.3 Machining AllowancesWhen the surfaces of finishedmaterial are to be machined,the following allowances aresuggested for normal machining operations.7.3.1 As-finished(Annealed and Descaled)For diametersof516to1116in.(7.94 to 17.46 mm)incl.,an allowance of116in.(1.59 mm)on the diameter should be made for finishmachining.7.4 Length:7.4.1 Unless multiple,nominal,or cut lengths are specified,random mill lengths shall be furnished.7.4.2 The permissible vari
