14、se fittings are intended for use with seamless coppertubeconformingtothestandardspecificationsASTMB88(forwaterandgeneralplumbingsystems),ASTMB280(forairconditioningandrefrigerationservice),andASTMB819(formedicalgassystems).FollowingapprovalbytheStandardsCommittee and ASME,this Standard was approved
15、as an American National Standard on October 11,2001,with thedesignation ASME B16.50-2001.Inthe2013edition,referencestoASMEstandardswererevisedtonolongerlistspecificeditionyears;thelatesteditionofASMEpublicationapplies,unlessstatedotherwise.Alsointhe2013edition,Tables3andI-3includedamaximumcuplengthu
