3、and finish System(EIFS)or itsindividual components by two different procedures:ProcedureA,Dry Conditioning and Testing of Specimens;and ProcedureB,Wet Conditioning and Testing of Specimens.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard.The value

4、s stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents;therefore,eachsystem shall be used independently of the other.Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the standard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns,if any,associated with its use

8、nal strength of a material.3.2.3 specimenthe entire assembled unit cut from thesample and submitted for test as described in Section 7.3.2.4 tensile-adhesion strengththe ultimate strength intension normal to the plane of the system.4.Summary of Test Method4.1 Specimens are tested by applying tensile

9、 loads normal tothe plane of the system in a controlled environment todetermine the tensile adhesion of the system or individualcomponents of the system,of both.5.Significance and Use5.1 Maintenance of adequate tensile adhesion of EIFScomponents to each other,and to the substrate are essential forlo

10、ng term performance of the system.5.2 The tensile-adhesion properties obtained by this testmethod are not purported to be representative of wind load orother structural and moisture related properties of the EIFSwall assembly.Tensile-adhesion properties using this testmethod are used as one of the f

11、actors in evaluating substratesand to compare adhesives.6.Apparatus6.1 Tensile Test Machine,capable of producing a tensileload on the test specimen at a constant cross-head rate of 1.5mm/min 0.05 in./min.6.2 Load Measuring Device,calibrated according to Prac-tice E4,the test machine load measuring d
