8、 changes,viewed at 5 magnification,areexamined for signs of deleterious effects,such as cracking,crazing,checking,blistering,peeling,delamination,or erosion.5.Significance and Use5.1 Resistance to freezing and thawing is a factor whendetermining the durability of EIFS,an EIFS with water-resistive ba
9、rrier coatings,and water-resistive barrier coatingsby itself.6.Apparatus6.1 Compressor,Freezing Chamber,and CirculatorOfsuch design and capacity that the temperature of the air in thefreezing chamber shall not exceed 9 C 16 F 1 h afterintroducing the maximum charge of units.The initial tempera-ture
10、will not exceed 32 C 90 F.6.2 Trays and ContainersWill be shallow,metal,and havean inside depth of 38.1 6 12.7 mm 112612in.and be ofsuitable strength and size so that the tray with a charge offrozen units can be removed from the freezing chamber by oneperson.6.3 Thawing TankShould permit complete su
