11、 after five minutes,the various screens are emptied and thecumulative fiber retained on each sieve is weighed and thepercent retained for each sieve is recorded on the data sheet.5.Significance and Use5.1 This test method determines the various fiber lengthsthat make up an HECP fiber mulch material.
12、HECP fibers areengineered and processed to specific length and width dimen-sions that facilitate the hydraulic application and preventclogging of the pump,recirculation pipes,nozzles,and tips.5.2 This test method is used by manufacturers of HECPproducts for quality assurance testing.1This test metho
